At Pipex Internet Limited we pride ourselves on our standard of service, however despite our best endeavours we may occasionally get it wrong. If you're unhappy with the service you've received, please tell us and we will do all we can to resolve the matter quickly and satisfactorily. This code is to inform the customer of our internal complaints procedure and what further steps are available if you believe your complaint has not been dealt with satisfactorily.
Pipex Internet's policy towards Fair Usage is that Customers should be able to use the service in an appropriate manner to meet their needs. A very small number of customers use an excessive amount of the network bandwidth at peak times, to the extent that it can impair the performance of others. Pipex Internet's Fair Usage Policy is designed to provide the most effective service to all Customers. The fair usage policy will identify the very small number of very heavy users. We will communicate with these users to try and establish what is driving the high usage and how individual usage patterns and habits can be modified to the benefit of all. In extreme cases, Pipex Internet may be required to apply management techniques to reduce the impact the heavy users have of the service performance of others.
Pipex's aim is to provide Internet services to our customers that allow our customers to enjoy the freedom of the Internet. Part of that freedom comes from the breadth and flexibility of the Internet; another part comes from being able to use it as free from interference as possible. Both you as a customer and Pipex as your service provider have legal and other responsibilities that must be adhered to in pursuit of this freedom (and, sometimes, in order to comply with national and international laws).
